Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, Mr. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, visited the corporate headquarters of Physicians Revenue Group, Inc. (PRG)—a leading U.S.-based medical billing and IT services company—located in Downers Grove, Illinois. He was accompanied by Consul General of Pakistan in Chicago, Mr. Tariq Karim. The Ambassador was warmly received by Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, CEO and Founder of PRG, along with other senior members of the leadership team. During the visit, Ambassador Sheikh received a detailed briefing on PRG’s expanding operations in Pakistan, where the company continues to scale its healthcare and IT service capabilities. It was noted that PRG is now the largest U.S.-based company providing medical billing and IT services from Pakistan, supporting physicians across 32 U.S. states. The company aims to grow its workforce in Pakistan to 5,000 professionals in the near future. The Ambassador commended PRG’s entrepreneurial achievements and its important role in fostering healthcare and technology collaboration between Pakistan and the United States. He highlighted the rapid growth of Pakistan’s tech ecosystem, the exceptional talent of its IT professionals, and the country’s potential as a global service provider. He also encouraged PRG to further expand its presence in Pakistan. Ambassador Sheikh recognized PRG as a success story of the Pakistani-American diaspora and a model of how diaspora-led businesses can contribute to the socioeconomic development of both Pakistan and the United States.
