PAKISTANI-ORIGIN BRITISH BUSINESSMAN PRESENTS RS.10 MILLION CHEQUE TO INTERIOR MINISTER MOHSIN NAQVI FOR FLOOD AFFECTEES

Islamabad: August 29, 2025

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Pakistani-origin British businessman Wasim Aslam. During the meeting, Wasim Aslam presented a cheque of Rs.10 million for the flood affectees to the Interior Minister. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated his spirit. The Interior Minister said that Pakistan is facing the extreme flood of history. The recent floods have badly affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, causing widespread destruction and displacing millions of people. He reaffirmed that the government will not abandon the affectees and added that Waseem Aslam’s financial contribution will be submitted to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
