On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to my fellow countrymen. This day is not only a celebration of our nation’s creation, but also a reminder that we have come a long way in turning the dream of a free and dignified homeland, envisioned by our forefathers, into reality.
To me, the true meaning of independence goes far beyond it's literal meaning?? It is the assurance that every citizen should have access to a life free from deprivation and fear of any form of social exclusion. The real measure of our freedom is the well-being of our people.
Our Ministry is committed to realizing this vision. By expanding the scope of social protection and creating employment opportunities, we are striving to eliminate poverty.
Today, as we celebrate our independence, it is important to remember that the journey of freedom is still ongoing. Let us work together, with compassion and determination, to build a Pakistan where progress is the right of every citizen.
