Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has welcomed the U.S. decision to designate the BLA and the Majeed Brigade as terrorist organizations. Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump and the U.S. administration. He stated that this is a significant achievement for Pakistan on the diplomatic front and yet another defeat for our enemy.
Interior Minister said that the U.S. move is an acknowledgment of Pakistan’s unmatched sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He noted that Pakistan–U.S. cooperation in counterterrorism is encouraging, and this step has paved the way for global action against the banned BLA and the banned Majeed Brigade. Mohsin Naqvi stressed that a joint stance against the terrorism is need of the hour. He emphasized that the U.S. action will promote peace and stability in the region.
