Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khichi Graces PNCA’s "Shaam-e-Moseeqi" as Chief Guest to Celebrate Independence Day

In connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) hosted a grand cultural evening titled "Shaam-e-Moseeqi", on Thursday showcasing the country’s rich literary and classical music heritage.

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi attended the event as the chief guest.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Khichi lauded the efforts of PNCA in promoting classical music and preserving the cultural identity of Pakistan.

He praised the artists for their exceptional talent and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting cultural initiatives across the country.

Director General of PNCA, Mr. Ayub Jamali, also expressed his appreciation for the performers and emphasized the importance of cultural events in nation-building.

The evening featured mesmerizing performances by renowned classical vocalists including Ustad Roshan Abbas Khan, Ghulam Abbas Khan, and Nadeem Riaz Malik. Their soulful renditions received thunderous applause from the audience, creating an atmosphere of cultural pride and unity.

"Shaam-e-Moseeqi" served as a meaningful tribute to Pakistan’s artistic legacy and played a key role in promoting the country’s diverse cultural expressions. The event left a lasting impression on attendees, strengthening their connection to the nation’s heritage and identity.
