Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP) Meets Pakistan’s Junior Squash Champions

Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP), hosted a special meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Pakistan’s top junior squash players who excelled at the Asian Junior Squash Championships 2025.

The meeting was attended by members of the Pakistan junior squash team and representatives from PMYP. The players present included Noor Zaman, Nasir Iqbal, Muhammad Sohail Adnan, Nauman Khan, Ahmed Rayyan Khalil, Mahnoor Ali, Asim Khan, and Sehrish Ali—all hailing from Peshawar.

Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan expressed pride in the athletes' dedication, discipline, and performance. He especially acknowledged Asim Khan and Sehrish Ali, currently ranked Pakistan’s No. 1 male and female squash players. He also commended the efforts of Mahnoor Ali and Sehrish Ali, who secured a combination of gold, silver, and bronze medals for Pakistan. Additionally, he recognized Nasir Iqbal, Muhammad Sohail Adnan, Nauman Khan, and Ahmed Rayyan Khalil for their medal-winning contributions, securing gold and silver for the country.

Pakistan’s performance at the Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships 2025 resulted in a total of seven medals: • Main Event: 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze • Plate Event: 2 Gold • Total: 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze

Chairman Rana Mashhood reaffirmed PMYP’s commitment to supporting young athletes and emphasized the importance of continued investment in youth development. He encouraged the players to maintain their momentum and assured them of the government's support in their future pursuits.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to nurturing Pakistan’s emerging squash talent.
