77th National Day of Pakistan was celebrated at the Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok with traditional zeal, says a press release received here today from Bangkok.

Flag hoisting ceremony was held at the premises of the Embassy. Dr. Sohail Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan raised the flag alongwith number of Pakistanis living in Thailand. The Ambassador in his remarks highlighted the historical perspective of 23rd March and emphasized on solidarity and building strong relation between the people of Pakistan and Thailand. Messages from the President and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were also read out on the occasion. Later, Pakistani families women, children and student were entertained with Pakistani national songs, documentaries and exhibition of Pakistan’s painting.

A National Day reception will also be held in the evening at a local Hotel.
