On the directions of Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, the Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt has initiated a series of measures aimed at strengthening the professional capacity and institutional integrity of PBM staff. As part of these efforts, the Regional Office Lahor successfully conducted an online Zoom training session focusing on organizational ethics and internal accountability.
The session was chaired and conducted by Mr. Muhammad Zaheer, Director Regional Office Lahore, who also served as the master trainer. The training aimed to reinforce a culture of transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct in public service—core values that define PBM’s mission to deliver accountable social support.
Key topics covered during the session included:
1. Whistle Blowing
2. Conflict of Interest
3. Organizational Behaviour
Participants were introduced to practical scenarios, institutional case studies, and best practices relevant to their daily professional responsibilities. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, promoting open discussion and reinforcing staff engagement.
Speaking on the occasion, the Regional Director affirmed that under the visionary leadership of the Federal Minister and in accordance with the Managing Director’s directives, such training programs will continue to be held regularly to strengthen internal systems and professional standards.
This initiative reflects the Ministry’s broader commitment to not only improving service delivery but also embedding ethical conduct and accountability as integral elements of PBM’s institutional culture.
