Federal Minister for Water Resources Visits Iranian Embassy; Condoles Loss of Lives and Expresses Solidarity with Iran

The Federal Minister for Water Resources, Mian Muhammad Mueen Wattoo, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad and met with the Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan. During the meeting, the Federal Minister extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan over the recent loss of innocent lives in Iran. He expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the bereaved families and the Iranian nation. "The thoughts and prayers of the people of Pakistan are with the martyrs and their families during this difficult time," he stated. Mian Muhammad Mueen Wattoo, reiterated Pakistan’s consistent support for the principled stance of Iran. He appreciated Iran’s recent strategic success and remarked that Iran has set a remarkable example on the global stage. "The people of Pakistan take pride in Iran's achievement and view the Iranian nation’s resilience with great admiration," he said. He further added that the bond between the people of Pakistan and Iran is founded on mutual respect, deep cultural ties, and shared values. “Our affection for Iran and the Iranian people is the same as we have for our own homeland and people,” the Federal Minister affirmed. The visit underlined the strong diplomatic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and mutual cooperation. Pakistan is a peace-loving nation. It has always believed that diplomacy, dialogue, and mutual respect are the most effective means to resolve conflicts and achieve long-lasting peace.
