Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Commends Islamabad Police for solving 15 High-Profile Cases, Including Sana Yousaf and Sardar Faheem Murders

In a major success, Islamabad Police has traced and arrested suspects in 15 high-profile cases — including the murder cases of social media influencer Sana Yousaf and analyst Sardar Faheem in record time.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the entire team of Islamabad Police involved in solving these cases. He appreciated the officers and personnel for their outstanding performance.

Interior Minister met with IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Jawad Tariq, SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib, SSP Investigation Usman Tariq Butt, SP City Suleman Zafar, SP Saddar Kazim Naqvi, ASP Ali Raza, Assistant Director Abbas Mehdi, DSP Suleman Shah, SHOs of the relevant police stations, and members of the investigation teams and personally appreciated their contributions.

"Well done, Islamabad Police — we are proud of your performance," said Mohsin Naqvi.

He added that Islamabad Police demonstrated exceptional professionalism in solving blind murders and high-profile cases. He particularly praised the use of modern technology and surveillance in solving the Sardar Faheem murder case.

Mohsin Naqvi noted that Islamabad Police has resolved several high-profile cases within a very short span of time. He especially commended IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi and his entire team for their remarkable efforts. He expressed hope that Islamabad Police would continue to serve with the same dedication and passion to protect the lives and property of citizens.

IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi praised the professional competence of Constable Rana Waseem, a member of the investigation team. In response, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed the IG to promote Constable Rana Waseem who has been serving at the same rank for 21 years — according to rules and regulations.

Federal Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry, Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad were also present on the occasion.
