Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and Fauji Foundation (FF) Sign Landmark LoI (Letter of Intent) to Empower Youth across Pakistan
Islamabad: June 17, 2025

A significant meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office, chaired by Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP). In a landmark move to empower Pakistan’s youth, PMYP signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Fauji Foundation (FF). This strategic partnership is aimed at promoting youth empowerment, academic excellence, and skill development across Pakistan.

By combining the institutional strengths, resources, and vision of both PMYP and Fauji Foundation, this collaboration seeks to create meaningful and merit-based opportunities for high-performing students in academics and sports. The partnership will focus on enhancing educational outcomes, grooming young talent, and building employability skills that prepare youth for success both nationally and internationally. This initiative is designed to benefit a broad range of stakeholders, including students and faculty from the Fauji Foundation Education Division, youth engaged in PMYP interventions, and associated support staff. Through a series of joint programs—including scholarships, academic and sports competitions, global education partnerships, technical training, digital skill-building, teacher training, and civic education—the collaboration aims to foster inclusive and sustainable youth development.

Further efforts will be made to support literacy, promote arts and culture, and strengthen connections between youth and the corporate sector. United in their commitment to excellence and merit, PMYP and Fauji Foundation are working together to cultivate a generation of capable, responsible, and globally competitive young leaders who can positively represent Pakistan on national and international platforms.

Present at the signing from the Fauji Foundation (FF) were Brig Abid Hussain Shah SI(M) Retd, General Manager Academics; General Muhammad Ihsan HI(M) Retd, Director Education; and Dr. Atta Ur Rehman, Head of Marketing, Education Division. Representing the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) were Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and Dr. Muhammad Ali, Deputy Secretary, along with other senior team members from both sides.

This Letter of Intent marks a major milestone in collaborative national efforts to unlock the full potential of Pakistan’s youth and guide them toward a brighter, more empowered future.
