Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, held a meeting with Ms. Claire Cheremetinski, Deputy Director General of the Treasury at the French Ministry of Economy & Finance, to strengthen Pakistan-France economic and trade relations. They discussed:

• the potential and opportunities for bilateral trade & investment;

• promoting joint initiatives and engaging the business communities of the two sides;

• Pakistan-EU economic ties and the GSP Plus arrangement;

• the importance of strengthening multi-lateral trading system and cooperation in the WTO framework; and

• economic and fiscal reforms in Pakistan.
