Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in his special message on Yaum-e-Tashkur, said that we bow in prostration of gratitude before Allah Almighty on Pakistan’s magnificent victory against Indian aggression. He said that we pay tribute to the martyrs of the nation whose unparalleled sacrifices led to triumph in this battle for truth.
Interior Minister stated that, as always, the cowardly enemy attacked under the cover of darkness, but Pakistan’s brave sons taught the enemy a dreadful lesson and inflicted a crushing defeat. He stated that the enemy who was drunk with the arrogance of power fled the battlefield just a few hours later.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that Pakistan’s valiant Airforce created history in aerial warfare by downing six Indian aircraft. He further said that the courageous armed forces of Pakistan responded to the enemy with overwhelming force, scripting a golden chapter of great success.
The Interior Minister added that this victory belongs not only to the Armed Forces of Pakistan but also to the proud and dignified people of Pakistan, whose heads are held high with honor.
Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Babar, and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf. He stated that under the wise and courageous leadership of the three Service Chiefs, the brave sons of Pakistan thwarted the enemy’s evil intentions.
