Following the strict instructions of Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Railway Multan Division has continued its vigorous action against encroachment. Under the Minister’s “Zero Tolerance” policy, an anti-encroachment operation was carried out by the Railway Multan Division, led by DS Zulfiqar Sheikh, against illegal encroachers near Railway Station Dera Ghazi Khan, specifically at Railway Kilometer No. 20-220/8.
The operation was carried out with the active participation of AEN Muhammad Adnan from Railway Bhakkar, SI/GH Shoaib Bhakkar, ASI GH Mohammad from Railway Police Dera Ghazi Khan, IOW Raahat Ali Khan, PWI Fida Hussain, and other Railway Police and staff members.
During the operation, 10 marla of commercial railway land, valued at 40 lakh rupees, was successfully retrieved from illegal occupiers.
DS Railway Multan, Zulfiqar Ali Sheikh, stated on the occasion, “We will recover every inch of railway land from the encroachers in Multan Division. This operation will continue in line with the vision of the Federal Minister for Railways to ensure the protection and proper use of Pakistan Railways’ land.”
