*Federal Minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah Visits Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Senior Citizens’ Home in Lahore*

Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, visited the Senior Citizens’ Home operated by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal in Lahore. Director Muhammad Zaheer briefed the Minister on the facilities being provided, including accommodation, meals, clothing, medical care, legal assistance, and counseling services. Currently, 35 elderly individuals are residing in the facility. The Federal Minister stated that such centers are a practical manifestation of social responsibility, and the government is keen to expand their outreach to other regions. Additionally, he directed the Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Lahore to prioritize medical assistance cases, emphasizing that the provision of healthcare facilities to the public is a top priority of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety. He stressed the need for timely and effective processing of such cases to ensure immediate relief reaches the most vulnerable segments of society.
