SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPUTERIZED REGISTRATION FOR LAWYERS
Islamabad: April 18, 2025

A key meeting was held today under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Law and Justice with officials from NADRA and representatives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab Bar Councils. The meeting focused on reviewing measures related to the computerized registration of lawyers and voter verification. It was decided during the meeting that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed between NADRA and the relevant Bar Councils to ensure the registration process is transparent, efficient, and in line with modern technological standards. The Law Minister stated that this step will not only help ensure free and fair bar elections but also serve as a milestone for the welfare of lawyers and institutional strengthening of bar associations.
