Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, visited the residence of the late Senator Taj Haider in Karachi to offer his condolences to the bereaved family. During the visit, the Minister expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the senior PPP leader and veteran parliamentarian. Paying tribute to the late Senator, Ahsan Iqbal described him as a principled and visionary leader whose lifelong commitment to democratic values and national development left a lasting legacy. He noted that Taj Haider’s contributions to parliamentary supremacy, constitutional integrity, and the democratic process in Pakistan will continue to inspire future generations. The Minister further remarked that Taj Haider’s passing is a significant loss for the country, which has been deprived of a true patriot and statesman. He prayed for the departed soul, asking Allah Almighty to grant him the highest place in Jannat and to provide strength and patience to his family in this time of grief.
