Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Fahad Bin Sulaiman Bin Khalaf Alkharusi. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed in detail. Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries, and agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of security. The Interior Minister stated that Pakistan attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with Oman. He added that the Pakistan-Oman relationship is rooted in shared faith, culture, and historical bonds. Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that more than 300,000 Pakistanis are currently residing in Oman and are playing a significant role in the development and progress of the country. He emphasized that efforts are being made to send more skilled professionals to Oman. On the occasion, Omani Ambassador Fahad Bin Sulaiman Bin Khalaf Alkharusi said that the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Oman span over several decades. He appreciated the contribution of the Pakistani community in the development of Oman.
