Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, attended the 190th Syndicate Meeting of Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Discussion was focused on the implementation of decisions from the previous Syndicate meeting and various initiatives taken by the Vice Chancellor. The meeting was also attended by the Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University, the University Registrar, Justice Jamal Mandokhail of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and faculty members. The meeting included detailed deliberations on academic appointments and the issuance of degrees to graduates across various programs (from BA to PhD). Additionally, policy matters regarding the affiliation of law colleges, administrative affairs, university land demarcation, and disciplinary appeals were reviewed. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided that Federal Minister Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and the Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University will meet with the Finance Minister next week to resolve the university's financial issues. Furthermore, they will also meet with the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to address land demarcation and issues related to old settlements on university premises.
