Federal Minister for Communications and President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Abdul Aleem Khan, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the respected mother of Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir. In his condolence message, Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of the demise of General Asim Munir’s mother. He stated that a mother is a great blessing, and the pain of losing her is indescribable. President IPP Abdul Aleem Khan extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family, praying that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul a place in His infinite mercy and bless the family with patience and strength to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and for her ranks to be elevated in Jannah. Furthermore, IPP’s central and provincial leaders have also expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the passing of the Army Chief’s mother. General Secretary of IPP, Mian Khalid Mahmood, Central Secretary for Information, Syed Samsam Bukhari, IPP Punjab President, Rana Nazir Ahmad Khan, MPA and Provincial General Secretary, Shoaib Siddiqui, IPP Lahore President, Malik Zaman Naseeb, IPP Punjab Vice President, Mian Junaid Zulfiqar, and Lahore Division Women’s Wing President, Dr. Javeria Suhrawardy, all extended their heartfelt condolences in their messages. In their condolence messages, the leaders stated that a mother is like a sheltering tree, and losing her affectionate and protective presence is an irreparable loss that words cannot describe. They prayed that may Allah Almighty forgive the departed soul, grant her a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bless the grieving family with patience and strength to bear this immense loss.
