Federal Minister for Railways, Mr. Hanif Abbasi, met today with a delegation of doctors from the IIMCT Railway General Hospital at his office. The purpose of the meeting was to congratulate the Minister on assuming the charge of the Ministry of Railways. During the meeting, a cordial and warm discussion took place in which the doctors congratulated Mr. Hanif Abbasi on assuming the ministerial role and expressed their commitment to further cooperation in the railway health sector. Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi thanked the delegation and emphasized that efforts would be made to enhance the healthcare facilities at railway hospitals. The Minister also expressed his determination to recognize the professional services of the doctors and take necessary steps to ensure their welfare. During the meeting, the Minister inquired about the current condition of the hospital and the healthcare services provided to patients. The doctors provided detailed information on the various aspects of the treatment being offered at the hospital. The delegation invited the Minister to visit the IIMCT Railway General Hospital at his convenience to directly assess the hospital’s facilities and services. The Minister accepted the invitation and assured that he would schedule a visit soon. The delegation consisted of Asadullah Khan, Executive Director of IIMCT, Aziz Ur Rehman, Chief Operating Officer of IIMCT, and Dr. Omar, Director of Teaching Hospitals, IIMCT.
