Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Mr. Hussain Dawood, Chairman of Engro Corporation, at the Ministry of Petroleum today. Mr. Ahsan Zafar Syed, President and CEO Engro was also in presence. The meeting focused on enhancing public-private partnerships, addressing energy challenges, and exploring opportunities for investment in energy sector. Mr. Dawood reiterated Engro’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s energy needs through innovation and strategic collaborations. Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik underscored that "the government values Engro’s contributions to Pakistan’s energy sector. We are committed to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive while ensuring affordable and reliable energy for all citizens." He further highlighted that the current government believes in policies that encourage private-sector participation in energy projects. Mr. Dawood and Engro team appreciated the Minister’s efforts in addressing energy sector challenges and expressed confidence in the government’s policies to attract investment.
