Federal Minister for Railways, Hanif Abbasi, has announced a special initiative on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr 2025, following the instructions of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shahbaz Sharif. According to the Railway Minister, on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd day of Eid ul Fitr 2025, there will be a 20% reduction in fares for all mail, express, passenger, and intercity trains across all classes. The aim of this concession is to provide relief to the public during the joyous occasion of Eid, allowing them to celebrate with their loved ones. Minister Hanif Abbasi emphasized that this initiative will bring happiness to railway passengers across the country and provide them with more convenient travel during the Eid holidays. He further mentioned that railway authorities will take necessary measures to ensure that passengers can easily benefit from this concession. The Minister also assured that all safety arrangements and the quality of train services will be maintained.
