Khalid Hussain Magsi has officially assumed charge as the Federal Minister for Science and Technology. Upon his arrival at the ministry, Federal Secretary of Science and Technology Engr. Sajid Baloch along with senior officials warmly welcomed him. An introductory meeting was held with senior officials, where the minister was briefed on the role and functions of the ministry by Federal Secretary of Science and Technology Engr. Sajid Baloch. He was also given an overview of the working of various organizations operating under the Ministry of Science and Technology, along with key ongoing projects and initiatives. In his address, Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi emphasized his commitment to leveraging science and technology to address Pakistan's economic challenges. He highlighted the need to actively involve the youth in technological advancements, promote research-driven policies, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into the industrial sector to enhance productivity and sustainability. He reiterated that the government is committed to transforming Pakistan into a knowledge-based economy and ensuring that scientific progress directly contributes to national development.
