Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on International Women's Day has stated that protecting women's rights is both our duty and a national responsibility. He highlighted that the rights granted to women by Islam are unparalleled. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the societies which uphold the dignity and respect of women are the ones that progress. He added that access to equal opportunities in education, employment, and advancement is the right of all women. Furthermore, he highlighted that women's participation in practical fields is a key pillar of social development. He added that progress cannot be achieved without recognizing women's strength. The Interior Minister noted that women make up half of our population, yet they still face violence and discrimination, which must be strongly opposed. He reaffirmed the commitment to providing a better, safer, and more progressive environment for women in Pakistan.
