Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Sen. Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, to examine the Iftaari arrangements of "Maizban-e-Ramadan" program, visited the shelter home established in Sector G-9 of Islamabad. Managing Director PBM while talking to the people, who came here for Iftaar, assured them of providing the best facilities for Iftaar during holy month of Ramadan. On this occasion, he also issued directives to the staff to perform their duties with utmost diligence, sincerity and passion for human service. Talking to the media, he said that PBM is providing its services even to the families of remote and backward areas of the country with the help of its district-level infrastructure and the vibrant role of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal is highly regarded for the poverty reduction in the country due to its distinctive welfare projects. Capt. Shaheen further remarked that by hosting the Iftaar this year in Ramadan is a kind gesture and also transmitting a clear message to the economically weak and constrained people that they are not alone in fulfilling this important religious duty, but the present government is with them. He informed, the arrangements for Iftaar are being made in PBM’s women empowerment centers, schools for rehabilitation child laborers, sweet homes for orphan children, shelter homes as well as mosques and other various places through mobile vehicles. Managing Director PBM Sen. Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, expressing this initiative as the pleasure of Almighty Allah, appealed to the country's philanthropists, welfare organizations, volunteers and people associated with every sector of life to make it more effective and memorable by participating in it. Later, the Managing Director also visited the Sweet Home in Islamabad and reviewed the Iftaar arrangements. He mingled with the children and had the Iftaar Meal with them.
