Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt paid visit to Shelter Home at Mandi More to inspect the Iftaar Arrangements for the needy persons there under PBM’s initiative “Maizban-e-Ramadan”. On the occasion, he said that serving and caring for the deprived people is also a message of holy month of Ramadan, taking the passion to spread this beautiful message, an unprecedented initiative has been taken by PBM to ease the people fulfilling this important religious obligation. He said that this is the first-ever initiative of its kind by the PBM, to accommodate 05 million persons of the country offering the Iftaar Meals. “Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan is deeply concerned for the betterment of economically pathetic segments, and has laid clear directives for taking all the possible steps to improve the lives of the country's disadvantaged families”. He further remarked. Senator Captain Khalid Shaheen Butt told that he himself is supervising this nationwide project launched in Ramadan and has given instructions to his staff for ensuring the supply of Iftar Boxes with hygienic nutrients taking special care of the self-respect and convenience of the people. Managing Director PBM also distributed Iftar Boxes among the people present there. Later, he broke the fast with the guests of PBM in Shelter Home and inquired about the quality of the food.
