Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, led a walk on Rawalpindi’s first Walking Street on Bank Road, Saddar, a project inspired by Kensington High Street. The event was attended by prominent political figures, including Members of the National Assembly Hanif Abbasi and Malik Abrar. At the event, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry emphasized, "This is Pakistan’s first project inspired by the renowned Kensington High Street." He further highlighted the project’s vision of creating a pollution-free, walkable zone, offering families a comfortable and vibrant space to shop and relax. Barrister Danyal Chaudhry also shared his pride in the swift completion of the project, reflecting the government’s commitment to delivering tangible results for citizens. "We believe in action, not words. Rawalpindi Walking Street is an example of our dedication to making Rawalpindi a city that works for its people, offering safe, accessible spaces that improve everyday life." The contributions of Major General Irfan Ahmed Malik, HI(M), DG ML&C, were also lauded at the event, with Barrister Danyal acknowledging his efforts in supporting the project. Barrister Danyal concluded the event with a message of hope and progress, reaffirming the government’s commitment to creating modern, livable spaces that enrich the lives of citizens and foster a sense of community.
