Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and Hum Mashal-e-Rah Foundation (HMR) agreed to build a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). In a glorious ceremony held here in Islamabad, Managing Director PBM Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt was the Chief Guest while Chairperson/Founder Director ‘HMR’ foundation, Amnah Aftab and CEO Punjab Charity Commission Amir Shahzad were also present among the other dignitaries. The MoU describes the commitment of both the organizations to work in collaboration for implementing an effective delivery mechanism in the PBM’s Business Facilitation Center established to create job opportunities for the trainees of Women Empowerment Centres, enhancing their professional skills and abilities. Under the agreement, the partner organizations will also work jointly to achieve the common goal of empowering underprivileged /differently-abled females to become self-sufficient and respectable members of the society. Addressing the ceremony, Managing Director PBM Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt termed the event a remarkable for the women empowerment stating that Women entrepreneurs can play a significant role in the socio-economic development of the country. While paying tribute to the all the hardworking women of the country, the Managing Director communicated his determination to offer PBM’s services to all the poor but courageous women who are passionate about their self-resilience and economic emancipation. Mr. Shaheen Khalid Butt, while recognizing the achievements of HMR foundation in serving the downtrodden segments of the country, expressed his gratitude for extending its support to the poor women and girls of PBM’s Business Facilitation Centre. On the occasion, Chairperson of HMR foundation Amnah Aftab spotlighted the foundation’s accomplishments carrying out various humanitarian services for the needy and deprived persons of the country. Admiring the PBM’s initiatives to uplift the lives of poverty-hit persons, she pledged to further accelerate the collaborative efforts of caring the vulnerable community
