INDIAN ARMY CHIEF'S FALSE ALLEGATIONS REJECTED, ATROCITIES IN KASHMIR EXPOSED
Islamabad: January 17, 2025

Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, Saba Sadiq, strongly rejected the baseless and inflammatory accusations by Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, labeling Pakistan as the "epicenter of terrorism." These statements are a deliberate attempt to divert global attention from India’s grave human rights violations in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). "India is subjecting innocent Kashmiris to enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and the use of pellet guns against civilians. These actions are blatant violations of international human rights laws," stated Saba Sadiq. She further emphasized that India’s provocative rhetoric and baseless accusations pose a threat to regional peace. Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and calls on the international community to hold India accountable for its atrocities in IIOJK. "Our leadership remains committed to supporting the Kashmiri people and strengthening institutions to ensure lasting peace in the region," she added.
