Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, spoke by telephone with Altynbek Maksutov, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, extending a formal invitation to the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA) Youth Summit, to be held in Islamabad from January 26-30, 2025. The conversation focused on strengthening youth collaboration and mutual support between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. Chairman Rana Mashood underscored the importance of cross-regional partnerships in addressing challenges facing young people, particularly in education, skills development, and cultural exchange. Chairman Rana Mashood also expressed deep gratitude to the Kyrgyz government for their support during the recent incident involving Pakistani students at a Kyrgyz university. He acknowledged that their prompt and compassionate response underscored the strong bilateral ties between the two countries. Minister Maksutov commended Pakistan's efforts to engage regional youth through initiatives like the CAYA Youth Summit and pledged his support for promoting youth empowerment within the Commonwealth Asia region. The CAYA Youth Summit 2025 will convene youth leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the region to explore innovative solutions to global challenges, including climate action, digital transformation, and socio-economic inclusion. The Summit will further the shared commitment of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan to empower youth for a sustainable and prosperous future.
