“Digital Pakistan and Digital Nation reflect Quaid-e-Azam’s principles.” - Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja Islamabad (25th December 2024): The Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, commemorated Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday by paying tribute to his enduring legacy. In her message, she highlighted Jinnah’s principles of unity, faith, and discipline as guiding values for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. She remarked, “Digital Pakistan and Digital Nation are modern manifestations of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision. These initiatives not only foster transparency and innovation but also ensure inclusivity, enabling every citizen to contribute to the nation’s growth.” The Minister further emphasized how the use of technology advances Quaid-e-Azam’s ideals by promoting equity, justice, and economic development. “Technology serves as a powerful equalizer, ensuring that all citizens—regardless of their socio-economic background—have access to essential services like health, education, and governance. This aligns directly with Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of an inclusive and progressive Pakistan,” she stated. Highlighting the transformative role of the IT sector, the Minister noted its capacity to not only empower individuals but also lay the foundation for a stronger, more unified nation. “By harnessing digital innovation, Pakistan is on the path to becoming a prosperous, technologically advanced country where opportunities are accessible to all.
