FEDERAL MINISTER FOR INTERIOR MOHSIN NAQVI STRONGLY CONDEMNS FIRING INCIDENTS ON POLIO TEAMS
Islamabad: December 16, 2024

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the firing incidents on polio teams in Karak and Bannu. He paid tribute to Police Constable Irfan, who was martyred while protecting a polio team during the firing incident in Karak. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Interior Minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the two polio workers injured in the firing incident. He emphasized that attacking polio teams is equivalent to attacking Pakistan's future. He praised the dedication of polio workers and police personnel assigned to protect them, stating that they are working tirelessly for a healthier future of the country. He reiterated that the incidents of firing on polio teams are unacceptable.
