The 31st meeting of the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) was held under the chairmanship of Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Interprovincial Coordination. The meeting extensively discussed the challenges faced by the sports sector, highlighting government support and new policies to address these challenges. During the meeting, Rana Sanaullah emphasized the importance of encouraging the winners of national games and providing them with the best facilities. He proposed the introduction of a gold card for national-level sports winners, which would grant them access to gym facilities and other sports activities as a mark of honor. Rana Sanaullah further discussed the new policies and initiatives of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), which include promoting martial arts, boxing, and other sports tournaments at the national level. He particularly highlighted the role of the committee for the weightlifting championship, stressing the need for the PSB to take all necessary measures to successfully host such championships. The meeting also addressed matters related to the Olympic Games. Rana Sanaullah praised Arshad Nadeem’s javelin throw as a benchmark of global standards and stated, “Arshad Nadeem has set a new standard with his javelin throw, and athletes like him have the full support of the Pakistan Sports Board.” Rana Sanaullah said, “Through the PSB's new initiatives and policies, we will provide the required resources and training to young athletes to help them succeed on the global stage.” At the conclusion of the meeting, Rana Sanaullah assured, “Our government is committed to providing all necessary resources to revolutionize the sports sector.”
