Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s big initiative for the welfare of the police, National Police Foundation has launched a housing scheme for the police after 25 years. Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the NPFD-1 Capital Park City project in Islamabad. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi distributed the allotment letters of plots among police employees and families of martyrs from different provinces. He congratulated the recipients. It is to be noted that in the housing scheme, police personnel, families of police martyrs and injured will be entitled to plots. Mohsin Naqvi further said that more steps are being taken for the welfare of the police under the National Police Foundation. He said that with the arrival of Managing Director Sabir Ahmed, the National Police Foundation has become quite active for the past few months. He said that it is commendable to earn profit from such projects and spend it on the welfare of the police. The Interior Minister assured that efforts are being made to ensure that every martyr has a budget that is sufficient for his family. He clarified that the care of every injured police officer is now the responsibility of the National Police Foundation. He further said that very soon the National Police Foundation and CDA will jointly bring a joint project. The Federal Interior Minister clarified that our efforts will be to ensure that the share of martyrs and the disabled comes first. On this occasion, the Managing Director National Police Foundation gave a briefing regarding the project. Addressing the ceremony, MD National Police Foundation Sabir Ahmed said that we are grateful to you that the police has always been your top priority. IG Punjab Police, IG Islamabad Police, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, MD National Police Foundation and high officials were also present on the occasion. ****
