Highlighting Pakistan’s strategic location and the critical role of its ports in driving regional and global trade, the Minister acknowledged Hutchison Port's vital contributions to transforming the country’s maritime infrastructure. The existing agreement between the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Hutchison Port has already catalyzed substantial investments in Karachi Port and other facilities, introducing state-of-the-art technologies and services. Mr. Sheikh lauded Hutchison’s commitment to fostering economic growth and elevating Pakistan as a regional trade hub. “Hutchison Port is not just investing in infrastructure; it is shaping the future of Pakistan’s maritime industry,” he stated, expressing confidence that such collaborations will position Pakistan as a key player in global commerce while boosting the national economy.
