Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmad Bugti chaired a meeting in Quetta. Initial report of the railway station suicide blast was presented during the meeting. On the occasion, prayers were offered for elevation of the ranks of martyrs. Interior Minister and CM Balochistan expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and the injured. It was decided to take Decisive steps to crush the terrorists and to expand the scope of intelligence-based operations to thwart the evil intentions of terrorists. Interior Minister said that all possible support will be provided to the Balochistan government to deal with the scourge of terrorism. He announced that all necessary resources will be provided to to the Balochistan government on priority basis. Chief Minister Bugti vowed to crush terrorists, modernizing police and Levies forces. Participants vowed to take decisive action against terrorists, expanding intelligence-based operations. Interior Minister assured full cooperation and resources to the Balochistan government to combat terrorism, enhancing police and Levies forces' capacity. He announced priority provision of necessary resources. He assure the full support for the training and capacity building of Balochistan Police, CTD and other Law enforcement agencies. Chief Minister Balochistan emphasized that with the cooperation of the federal government, steps will be taken to enhance the professional capacity of the police and Levies and these will be developed on modern lines to combat terrorism. He reiterated the commitment to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan. He also expressed gratitude to Federal Interior Minister for his proactive role towards establishing peace in Balochistan. The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Shahabuddin, and IG Police Muazzam Jah Ansari.
