Chaudhry Salik Hussain Visits Pakistan's Mission in Geneva

Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, visited the Pakistan Mission in Geneva, reinforcing Pakistan's commitment to international cooperation and collaboration. During his meeting with Ambassador Bilal Ahmad, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Chaudhry Salik Hussain received a comprehensive briefing on the mission's objectives, activities, and achievements. The Permanent Representative praised Minister Hussain's instrumental role in advancing Pakistan's engagement with the International Labour Organization (ILO), particularly the ratification of three additional conventions in a remarkably short period. The visit yielded significant outcomes, including enhanced international cooperation, advancement of Pakistan's ILO agenda, and reaffirmation of the government's commitment to protecting overseas Pakistanis' interests. Specifically, the Minister's efforts have strengthened Pakistan's global partnerships, accelerated progress on ILO conventions, and ensured the continued safeguarding of overseas Pakistanis' rights.
