Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb, held a meeting with Ms. Reta Jo Lewis, President of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of the United States. The Finance Minister urged for closer collaboration between the EXIM Banks of Pakistan and the US. He welcomed the EXIM Bank’s interest in Pakistan’s energy, minerals, and IT sectors and assured the provision of necessary data to facilitate the Bank’s evaluation of entry into Pakistan’s market. Additionally, he sought clarification on the US nexus requirements for goods and services financed or insured by the EXIM Bank.
