Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Chinese Embassy and met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong to condemn the Karachi blast that claimed the lives of two Chinese citizens. The Interior Minister expressed deep sorrow over the incident, extending his condolences to the Chinese Government, Ambassador Zaidong, and the families of the deceased. He reaffirmed Pakistan's solidarity with China, stating that the entire Pakistani nation shares the grief of their Chinese brothers. The Interior Minister briefed the Ambassador Zaidong on the investigation's progress, ensuring a comprehensive probe to bring perpetrators to justice. He emphasized Pakistan's commitment to protecting Chinese nationals working on development projects in the country. "The attack on Pakistan-China friendship is intolerable, and we will not let this sinister plot harm our fraternal relations," Naqvi said. "Protecting Chinese citizens working in Pakistan is our top priority." He added that the enemy targeted Pakistan's closest friends and allies, and a strong response will be given to this cowardly attack.
