FEDERAL MINISTER FOR OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS AND HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT CHAUDHRY SALIK HUSSAIN VISITED ARMY GRAVEYARD, RACECOURSE RAWALPINDI

The Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, visited the Army Graveyard at Racecourse, Rawalpindi, to pay tribute to the brave individuals who lost their lives defending Pakistan. On the occasion of Defence Day, the Minister, with profound reverence, offered fateha on the graves of the martyred Lt Col Anwar Abbas Butt (Sitara e Basalat), Brigadier Sardar Nadeem Iqbal Khan, Captain Muhammad Kashif, and other heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Chaudhry Salik Hussain laid floral wreaths on the graves and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also acknowledged the sacrifices of the families of the martyrs, who have been left behind to carry on their legacy. "Martyrs sacrificed their lives to save Pakistan from hostile elements and the nation will always remember the sacrifices of our brave soldiers," said Chaudhry Salik Hussain. "We draw inspiration from their courage and valour, and we will continue to work towards a stronger and more prosperous Pakistan."
