Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology, Engineer Sajid Baloch chaired a high powered meeting of heads of allied organizations of the Ministry of Science and Technology today on 4th September, 2024. Engineer Sajid Baloch, Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology was briefed by the heads of 16 allied organizations of the Ministry of Science and Technology which included Chairman PCSIR, DG PHA, Rector NUST, Chairman PEC, Rector NUTECH, Chairman, PSF etc. Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology Mr. Sajid Baloch said that all departments need to enhance their productivity by ensuring swift disposal of government work. He highlighted the importance of efficient and effective work environment and said that he expected all the departments to work with the highest degree of work ethics while ensuring no delay. Engineer Sajid Baloch said that it is extremely important for every department to work in a manner that justifies their existence by providing public service par excellence. He said that the ultimate function of any government entity is to provide relief and service to the public which should always be kept as the highest priority. Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology said that Prime Minister’s vision of rightsizing is the need of the hour and every organization needs to justify its existence by delivering at the highest level. He hoped that all the department heads present at the meeting will ensure optimum productivity in their respective organizations in line with the vision of the Prime Minister.
