Mortal Remains of the Martyred Pilgrims Repatriated to Pakistan by Special Plane
Tehran: August 23, 2024

Ayatullah Naseri Representative of Supreme leader in Yazd and Imam Juma Yazd, Governor Yazd H.E Mehran Fatemi, Deputy Governor H.E Abdulhoseini along with Mudassir Tipu, Ambassador of Pakistan in Tehran and Embassy of Pakistan officials paid homage to the deceased in the funeral ceremony of the Pakistani nationals who lost their lives in an unfortunate bus accident in Yazd. The mortal remains of the 28 deceased and 15 injured pilgrims who were discharged from the hospital were repatriated to Pakistan. Under the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, a special plane came from Islamabad to carry the mortal remains of the pilgrims. Governor Yazd condoled with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls. The Ambassador Mudassir thanked the governor for all the support of the government of Iran and smooth and quick repatriation of the dead bodies and the injured.
