Ambassador of the Netherlands to Pakistan, H.E. Henny Fokel de Vries called on Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and discussed important issues including the promotion of bilateral friendly and mutual relations between the two countries. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said in his conversation that Pakistan has great importance for European countries for investment in Pakistan. He added that Netherlands and Pakistan both can get benefit from each other's experiences in Education, Health and Dairy Products. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that for the stability of the economy, present Government privatizing all the loss-making State Owned Entities (SOEs). In this regard, Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan informed the Dutch Ambassador about the present status of privatization on various institutions including PIA, DISCOs, First Women Bank and State Life Insurance Corporation and highlighted its salient features. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that the Netherlands has progressed in various sectors and our business community should especially be benefitted from the quality and expertise of the Dutch dairy products. Abdul Aleem Khan said that by taking the right steps, we should adapt our growing population according to the country's resources. Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Henny Fokel de Vries, while talking to the Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that by bringing innovation in the field of agriculture, Pakistan can develop more in this sector. She said that Netherlands is keen to increase bilateral relations with Pakistan in different areas. Ambassador of the Netherlands H.E. Henny Fokel de Vries also expressed interest in increasing investment and mutual cooperation in various fields with Pakistan. Describing her stay as Ambassador in Pakistan as a pleasant one, H.E. Henny Fokel de Vries said that the people here are wonderful and hospitable and it is a pleasant experience for her to perform duties here.
