The National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) conferred the Best Researcher and Innovator Awards (BRAIN) upon the high-performing researchers and innovators on Wednesday. The distinguished awardees demonstrated exceptional capabilities in securing national and international funding, conducting cutting-edge research, producing high-quality publications, and creating impactful inventions during the academic year 2022-23. Federal Minister for Science & Technology Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui graced the event as chief guest and presented cash prizes and certificates to 80 awardees in 108 different categories. Speaking to the Award holders & faculty members as chief guest, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said it was a moment of celebration and triumph for NUST. Lauding the leadership role of NUST in nurturing the best minds, addressing socio-economic challenges and making contribution for technological advancement in Pakistan, Siddiqui urged Award holders & Faculty members to utilize their professional potential for human development in the country. He also said that NUST is a future of Higher education in Pakistan.
