The Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) held a distinguished cheque distribution ceremony at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in Karachi, honoring exceptional students in Nursing and Arts & Culture. The event was graced by Syeda Hajra Sohail, CEO of PEEF, Vice Chancellors from partner institutions, esteemed academic personnel, students, and Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, who attended as the Chief Guest. At the ceremony, 137 students from 18 universities were awarded PEEF scholarships totaling approximately Rs. 48 million. These scholarships recognized their outstanding achievements and commitment in the fields of Nursing and Arts & Culture. Syeda Hajra Sohail, CEO of PEEF, underscored the critical role of skill education in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application. She stated, "PEEF is steadfast in its commitment to advancing skill development initiatives that better prepare our youth for the demands of the modern workforce. Our Fully Funded Scholarship Program is strategically designed to bolster employability in crucial sectors such as AI, Hospitality, IT, and Cybersecurity." Addressing to the ceremony, Chief Guest Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique congratulated the scholarship recipients and emphasized that the ceremony was more than a simple distribution of cheques. He remarked, "Today’s event symbolizes our recognition of the immense potential within our youth and our encouragement for them to reach even greater heights. The Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) plays a vital role in removing financial barriers to education. I commend PEEF for its exemplary efforts and the support of our educational institutions in empowering students.
