The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has achieved a record revenue of Rs 52 billion in the fiscal year 2023-2024. This is the highest revenue collection in CDA's history. Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, attributed this achievement to the special measures taken on the directions of Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. He said that in May and June, CDA collected Rs 7.9 billion. He said that in the highest revenue of CDA was Rs 47.6 bn in fiscal year 2021-2022,, while the target for fiscal year 2023-2024 was set at Rs 41.8 billion. However, through effective strategies, CDA surpassed its target by 23%. He highlighted that instead of selling assets, the authority is focusing on alternative revenue sources to make it a financially stable organization. Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and his team on achieving the record revenue. He stated that during the last two months the CDA team worked with dedication and commitment to exceed the target. He expressed hope that the authority will continue to focus on revenue generation with the same zeal in the current fiscal year.
