Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. (PBS) extends its gratitude to the Provincial Government particularly Education Departments for providing the services of enumerators and supervisors for the Field Operations of the 7th Population and Housing Census. It is pertinent to mention that 56% of the payments for the 7th Population and Housing Census have been cleared. For the remaining 44%, PBS has been diligently pursuing the matter and is now pleased to confirm that all outstanding payments have been released. However, the Accountant General Pakistan Revenue (AGPR), Islamabad has requested Vouched Accounts from the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for already paid 56 % payments as condition to release further funds. The AGPR, Islamabad has issued cheques to the 47 Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for remaining 44 % payments, who have provided vouched accounts for past payments. DCs who have not yet shared the details of Vouched Accounts are urged to do so, promptly to facilitate the transfer of funds to their accounts for remaining 44% percent payments to be paid to the enumerators and supervisors. The esteemed enumerators and supervisors deputed for the field operations of the 7th Population and Housing Census in the following, 47 districts are requested to collect their payments from their relevant DC office, as the amount has been transferred in the accounts of respective DCs.
