PM Attends Commemoration Ceremony of Late President Raisi and his Companions
Islamabad: May 22, 2024

The Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, visited Tehran to attend the funeral ceremony of late President of Iran, Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, late Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and their companions, who embraced martyrdom in a tragic helicopter accident in the Eastern Azerbaijan province of Iran on 19 May 2024. The Prime Minister was received at the airport this Morning by Mr. Mehrdad Bazrpash the Minister for Road and Urban Development along with the Ambassador of Pakistan in Tehran Mr. Mudassir Tipu. The Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, offered condolences, on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan, to Acting President, H.E. Dr. Mohammad Mokhber and wished him success on his new role. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and SAPM Mr. Tariq Fatimi.
