On the instructions of Federal Minister for Interior and Anti-Narcotics Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan Coast Guards crackdown against narcotics and smuggling.

On the directives of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan Coast Guards have launched a special operation along the coastal belt, resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of contraband items. The operation resulted in the seizure of 12,970 kilograms of sugar, 3,049 packets of gutka, 1,524 packets of cigarettes, 1,543 kilograms of mixed cloth and 206 bundles of net cloth. Moreover dairy and bakery products, grocery items, dry fruits, makeup products, cooking oil, crackers, electronic devices, speed boats, various vehicles, engine oil, Iranian petrol, and diesel were also confiscated. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed that the crackdown on smuggling and narcotics must continue without discrimination. He emphasized the need for a zero-tolerance policy towards smuggling and narcotics, as they were harming the national industry and economy. He stressed that the timely suppression of the smuggler mafia was essential. Interior Minister further stated that strict action would be taken against the sale and purchase of narcotics at every level, as it isour resolve to save the coming generation from menace of drugs.
